Property Description

Little Shelter is Suffolk County's oldest humane society and was established in 1927. We are located on 6 wooded acres in Huntington, Long Island. The shelter consists of 2 kennel buildings, a medical building, a 'real-life' life building, a house that has been converted into offices, and a large open space cattery (cat shelter). Our grounds are also home to Sheltervale Pet Cemetery which has been the final resting place of beloved pets since 1926. Our grounds are beautiful, peaceful & unique.
