Property Description

This is one acre of heaven with river, pond, woods and wildlife views. A sunporch overlooks all. The dining room window allows us to keep track of animals and birds swimming by as well as kayakers and snowmobilers. Across the river is the Christmas Trees Inn used by Hollywood stars of yesteryear. There may be a possibility of renting it from PC Connections for film crew workers to stay in. Keene, NH is 20-30 minutes away with restaurants, motels, malls, etc. Marlow has a country store, one restaurant and a scenic view of reflected churches that has graced the covers of many cards, calendars, etc. My property is an easy access spot for wilderness shots. The water is 4-6 inches deep in the marsh, 4 feet deep in most of the river and 10-20 feet deep in the pond and the swimming hole. There is a nearby bridge that local kids still jump off in the summer time. If you need river rapids, the next town over, Gilsum, NH has them. Working for the planning board of the Town of Gilsum, arrangements could probably be made for filming on river rapids.
