The front of the main house faces out to an acre of grass that separates the house from the front two acres of syrah grapes. The grass area, to be relandscaped in 2008, is open and largely flat, ideal for tents, etc.

The living room cannot be characterized by any single architectural style. With a 20 foot ceiling and large open wood beams, it has a rustic feel that is belied by generous picture windows, brickwork, wooden floors, and antiques. The 20 acre lot is criss-crossed by three creeks that are lined with very large heritage oaks. The creeks are deep and lush with ferns, blackberry, and other dense plants. The creeks run year round. There is a quaint pedestrian bridge that extends from the backyard of the main house to the cottage on the other side of a creek. From the property, you have views of the Sonoma Country hills and mountains. Napa is a short 15 mile drive away.
